The ROK lounge - hope you are not thirsty

With two flights still to leave for the day, the next one in 30 minutes, you would have thought the drinks selection might have had a better selection:

That is not bad actually. If you flying PHE-PER on the late flight home (QF1117), the fridge is normally empty by the time you get into the QF regional lounge (and it is always empty by the time the flight is ready to board).

Those miners sure are thirsty. Reminds me of the old Ansett lounge at BME, equipped with a run-of-the-mill mini-bar fridge. Hopefully you never wanted more than two of the same drink.

I forget if it was ROK or MKY earlier this month but there was only 1 beer in the fridge and 2 of us wanted to have a beer. I was quite happy for the other bloke to have the beer but said I could have it.

Thats xx_X Gold, which I stopped drinking after I found out it was popular with depressed people according to a recent survey on you are what you drink. The survey was depressing as well.

I was there recently and thought the lounge was a bit of joke. Please do write to QF and tell them what you think (I did). I mean, there's no point in having a lounge if it's not going to have a minimum level of service.

If you took that last Wednesday, at least I was able to snaffle 3 of the 6 Sem Blancs.
I can't see whether the TimTam minis were gone because the tray was empty when I got there.:evil:

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice. That's a lot better than I've seen it in the past (was empty again on Sat arvo).

I've sent a few complaints to customer care about it and gotten nothing responses. From "we have an RSA, can't just have drinks sitting there" to "the manager assures me he fills it after each flight".

AGH who run ROK are just useless and it seems Qantas just can't be bothered controlling their contractors. Please send an email to CC, just to add it to the pile if nothing else.
