I chose Carrie Carry-all, though lately I’ve taken to just putting my bag under the seat in front of me, so much easier. If someone had the audacity to put their bag where my feet go though… they might find their bag in the aisle quickly.

The space intruder.

The worst flight I've ever been on was a red eye from PER - SYD in Y (on one of the old B743's, infact it was my last ever trip on a B743, so I wish that it didn't also double as my worst flight).

As soon as the safety demo was done and the FA's sat down, the guy infront rammed his seat back as far as it would go. (This is before takeoff) and then the guy sitting next to me (I was in a K window seat) cuddled up to me
I woke him up several times to ask him to get back over to his seat (no kidding his head was resting on my headrest...) but after a while I just gave up.

After this experience as far as I was concerned there is such as thing as justifiable homicide. And no I was a regular on those PER red-eye-flights (they just make financial and time sense) so I knew that they aren't always this bad.

I went for the Oblivious Parent though the The space intruder was right up there.

I am with you on this. You can push a space invader and move the bags of a carry-all but you hit one kid for being annoying:rolleyes:

Most of my bad flight stories start with............and these bloody kids.......;)

That's why you give the "I've been on planes since your midnight, I will kill you and your child if you don't keep them under control" look. For some reason parents are no longer as oblivious when they think their life is now in danger.

It's worked for me... ;)

Agreed, and I've used that look several times before. One time was a ADL-PER aboard a 737 after a four day technical conference I was sent on at the very last minute. Was a QFNB with no status at all.

Assigned mid-rear of cabin, in a row with a older mother and young baby. Mother was supposed to be assigned whole row herself, and FA asked if I would mind moving. Seat was very last row, unable to full recline due to bulkhead behind, and had a young mother and a four year old instead.

As soon as the seatbelt sign went off, the little terror started up - and I just threw over the look of death 10min later because 'it' was kicking the seat, talking loudly, playing with IFE controls on my seat, touching my laptop, etc.

Was able to crack on, until 15min after that the gent in front of me put his seat into full recline without at least checking first - shifting 3kgs of plastic straight into my gut along with the tray table.

And the postscript, the young baby and mother were perfect the entire flight.

Interesting use of terminology. Would not really want to spend too much time in an aircraft cabin with any of them. Did not see chronic recliners mentioned anywhere.

I would choose the space-invader assuming the category includes chronic recliners.
