nope, no different. Qantas did the hard yards people are worn down now. Qantas removed ATA and burned the sense of loyalty that purchased. DJ might have rebuilt that loyalty but not with freeloaders on board and certainly not now that they are taking it away. It's a shame they couldn't hold on a bit longer to build that loyalty but having made the decision, well meh!

Besides QF taking away ATA means that I maintain status on 2 airlines instead of just one so it makes things like ATA mute. I'm sure there would be many others who are the same.

What might have been a better option would be to differentiate gold from platinum by removing certain things from Gold like ATA and PB.
