Transiting IST in Dec I too saw an aircraft with a San Marino connection. Had no idea why there was an A330 with San Marino written on the fuselage parked opposite our TK 737. I thought San Marino was too small to have its own airline, so figured it was a private jet for the Prince, Prime minister, President or whatever the head of state of San Marino is. It turns out that San Marino Executive Aviation have two A330-300s in cargo configuration that they use for charters around the world. So, wont be adding that airline to my list of airlines flown on any time soon… I will however be visiting San Marino during a European holiday in April/May. It was the AFF search function using the words San Marino that led me to the post from
