The view from my "office"

Matt - I need to book for a couple of nights in Lisbon - would you recommend this hotel and the area - anyone else I'm happy to hear suggestions
Quite a few years ago, I stayed at the Britannia hotel. Art deco, within walking distance of the historic centre, and there was a decanter of port in every room. 😎
Economy-X has more legroom than J. I wanted to take a pic before someone took the Y-X seats, but couldn’t
No divider on my recent Brisbane to Hobart flight. I’m beginning to love economy X especially row three😊

Thanks - I think I'm going with Lisbon Wine Hotel Despite saying if you book direct you get the best price I can get it for a lot cheaper through Qantas hotels. Just trying to find my voucher. PS cheaper even without voucher 🤷‍♀️

Did you see 2A in the lounge?
Nah, I couldn’t see the seats. I assume they are locked away as it was less than 30 mins to departure. The lounge agent mentioned that there is only one seat left in J and put me in 2C. So I assume that 2C is the only seat available …

The Weather guys in BC got it totally wrong when they called BW Cloudy today. All the non-mountain people left a perfect bluebird day behind for the lucky few.

BIG WHITE 24 JAN 2023.jpeg

As a result of the 18hr blackout the other day, there was minimal light pollution, and the Orion Constellation was able to be seen clearly (unusual from the village). Photo courtesy of a patient Ski Instructor.

Checked into our hotel in San Marino. The view from the toilet isn't half bad. Tick.. that's another country ticked off the list now.

@Flashback, I note you had some nice photos from San Marino from a few years ago. Where did you stay and do you recommend it? If not, any other recommendations? I’m guessing you can’t really go wrong staying up in the main hill area.

@TheRealTMA, my family and I will also be staying in Bologna and I note from another thread that you had some photos from there so same sort of question if you don’t mind: where would you recommend staying in Bologna?

I’m making accom bookings now for a trip in late April / early May.

We stayed at Hotel Bellavista, we had no issues with it.

In Bologna we stayed at B&B Ambra which was also decent and a nice central location.

We're happy with cheap and cheerful :)
