Not quite a PERfect day today. And certainly not anywhere near as sunny as Cronulla. The temperature in my suburb was around 15 C. We had a quick, but heavy, fall of hail followed by a period of heavy rainfall. This was actually very welcome as we are still way behind our yearly average rainfall.
Out the front of my house. The rain washed the hailstones away very quickly but certainly filled up the roadside gutters.
Keeping on with the theme of the singing (and ripped) grandpas - this time Sting. 2/3 of the set was Police setting the show alight with Message in a Bottle and a very cool encore of Roxanne. Another nice night of balmy weather in the Lake Geneva Montreux office.
Been a month between journeys, can't remember when I last spent so long at home.. forced by my faulty passport of course. Did I mention how much I hate school holidays in the UK? Officially start tomorrow but people have definitely started today. Lounge was a zoo, too. Empty in J again, although I think there's 4 this time (3 last time).
My Antananarivo (and getting there) office views.
I do rather like the Ethiopian food they serve on ET flights (only ex-ADD and only lunch time flights!).
Arrival into Tana, the driest I've seen it. Starting to get back towards the wet season soon, so makes sense it's very dry now (each time I've arrived it's been drier and drier since February).
I'm glad my flight wasn't affected by the Microsoft outage and botched CrowdStrike update that's causing airlines issues........
