The drought on the east coast of Tas broke in January when we had 8" in 36 hours :shock: ; then in June & July it was another really wet 2 months (winter - as it should be), then we had another burst in mid August. The Hydro dams filled to spilling pretty quick (except for the 2 mega impoundments - long way to go there).

No, they did that. 1/3 of the state was running on hired diesel gensets for about a month. Then it rained in January and hasn't stopped since!
