The view or two from my "office"

This is the last photo (Seville) of this trip. Unfortunately my partner's condition isn't good to the point that we cannot enjoy our holiday anymore. We cancelled Mallorca and Barcelona and will be flying home soon.

Gosh, I hope not too serious and that you are home and comfortable soon. Take care of each other.

The High Line, an elevated section disused train line that was turned into a linear park.

And a footy field:

(Sadly they were setting up for a Metallica concert and no photos of inner stadium were permitted. :( )

Looks like a HDR effort to me. Stacked different exposure images.

Yes I agree. The image is quite flat for that reason.

I find churches, Italian street scenes etc can be difficult to photograph because of extreme range and long shadows. Sometimes HDR is good, sometimes it loses the emotion of the subject. A small edit to adjust contrast and brightness after the event often helps.

If you read the inspector details for the post, the photo is named xx_-HDR.jpg so expect you are correct here.
A better photo than I take though - even if I try for a bit of post work somehow they just 'miss'.:)
So thanks jb747 for the photo.

Some say Melbourne has four seasons in a day ... not today - great weather!

So we had to settle with this...

If I start putting the contrast back, I may as well use one of the originals... Funny that nobody commented on the biggest change though (which has nothing to do with HDR).
