@RooFlyer - there is a large pavilion that we assumed was the palace, but it was closed off for renovations. There are lots of peacocks, chickens and large gulls (the later sit around behaving like ducks usually would in a park - odd) So go for the views, the birds, but byo port.

I remember 2009. Though that sign has it 25cm higher than the official figures. Feb ‘09 and Jan ‘98 are recorded as a dead heat for second spot by BoM at 20.50 metres. ‘46 will be hard to top.

My last Porto office photo. We stayed next to Taylor’s Port Cellars and popped in for a quick tour and taste prior to heading to the train station this morning. I’m not a big port fan, but this Taylor’s Chip Dry Port was the pick of them for mine and is served as an aperitif, before for example.....chicken.
