No weddings here! From Wikipedia

The square is surrounded by 48 buildings, is accessed by two streets, and has an area of 3,500 m2. The balconies of the plaza are lintelled, and were built between the 18th and 19th centuries. Except that they obviously dont sell oysters to the public before Victoria Day-next Monday. No oyster shack was open and the only restaurant we went to that had oysters on the menu when ordered replied-Sorry that is the wrong menu and shouldn't be out yet.
So on one important point Tassie and Coffin Bay oysters win hands down-I can get them when I want them.
Some obviously have standards.

Enlightenment is often not easy. You’ll have to go back.:)

Another hot and dusty day in northern Portugal. Kris Meeke rolled his Citroen into a ball, another one of to hospital for checks. There was a little rain in the afternoon, but not enough to settle the dust.

Most on the trip are Swedish, a couple of Swiss and a couple of Norwegians, some Germans and an American from Seattle who asked me about the ball tampering issue and whether Steve Smith would play for Australia again! Not something that I expected to hear from an American.
Anyway some of these people start drinking when the sun comes up and keep going, this load should keep a few of them happy for a couple of hours. The hospitality ticket includes lunch and unlimited wine, beer, some spirits. A lot make sure they get their money's worth.

Late afternoon on the Danube Promenade in Budapest, a glass of wine and a busker playing “It’s a Wonderful World”.

This was one of those “life is beautiful” moments!
Did you hop on the number 2 tram for the ride along the river to the Parliament and back? A beautiful spot indeed.

Of course tram 2 and the oldest metro line in continental Europe, also the cog railway to Széchenyi-hegy on a mountain just NW of the city.

I am working my way through “the world’s 10 best tram rides”. Only 1, 2 and 3 left. I only found this list after I had been to Toronto and Seattle, good reason to go back there again.

1. Queen Streetcar, Toronto

2. George Benson Waterfront Streetcar, Seattle

3. St. Charles Streetcar Tour, New Orleans

4. Streetcar F, San Francisco

5. Trams van Hong Kong

6. Tram 96, Melbourne

7. Tram 2, Budapest

8. Tram 68, Berlin

9. Tram 2, Amsterdam

10. Tram 28, Lisbon

Beach at Petone north of Wellington. I just want to go down there and have a big bonfire at night and drink my Four Pillars Shiraz gin
Not very exciting compared to all the others from Venice etc but maybe if I keep working here I'll be having another big holiday next year

Still at the DRW waterfront where they have a giant jumping castle in the middle of the lagoon.

First someone has to make their way out onto the bit at the front:

Then their “friends” jump from the top, often in pairs for added launch power:

Gravity does its thing:

Newton’s third law kicks in:

The person at the front gets shot up:

Gravity returns and landing with dignity is almost impossible.

Beer and a show. Priceless.

That will keep you busy. But No.2 is an absolute stand out for me.
