The view from my "office"

Our transport for today. On a Regional tarin from Muenster to Hamm and then on the ICE. We are now in Berlin. That was the highest speed we saw. For the first 2/3 of the trip on the ICE we ambled along at around 145 - 175 k/mh.

They have these for politicians/ ambasadors
Has enough range for CBR-HIK
It comes through each week, on the embassy run. It's fun to watch it some days, when it must be loaded up to the limit. It virtually backs into the fence to get the longest possible takeoff run down the runway.

The Bundestag Dome - absolutely packed. I booked about 3 weeks ago and it was hard to get a booking then. There was a big queue trying for cancellations.

The golden statue on top of the Victory Column ( Siegessäule) with the abandoned cold war spy station on the Teufelsberg (Devils Mountain). The entire hill was built from the rubble of Berlin buildings destroyed in WW2.
