The view from my "office"

I was referring more to being stuck in economy, rather than having a child in front of you :D

Thankfully I'm only 5'10 and it was an all day flight (for some unknown reason the cabin was in darkness which is ridiculous). Look, hardly ideal but thems the breaks.

So how did the arrival in DEL go, with hotel pickups etc?

DEL was just a transit to PNQ. The QF flight arrived 30 minutes late. My flight to PNQ was scheduled for 8:45pm and my boarding pass implied boarding commenced at 7:45pm. I just made it to the departing gate in time with a little luck by getting pulled out of the customs queue and being waived through. I was HLO. Turns out my flight to PNQ was delayed anyway. I paid a quick visit to the Plaza Premium lounge for some water and internet.

The hotel pick-up in PNQ worked well. The PNQ airport is small and a lot of construction. It was close to midnight and I hadn't slept for 22 hours. So no photos. Flying PNQ to DEL tomorrow and have the JW Marriott hotel pick-up organised from there.

The flight from DEL to PNQ was on Vistara in Y+. The extra cost is marginal and worth it. It's a standard economy seat with a bit of extra legroom. Early boarding and boarding and a meal is the extra you get (and seat selection for free). I'll take more pictures of the meal tomorrow, but it was good enough for a two hour flight. There was no alcohol. Turns out that's only on the international sectors. Would happily fly UK again.

The must visit (not) Earth Lounge at PNQ

Y+ on UK from PNQ to DEL today. I'd say this food offering on a 2 hour flight in Y+ is a step up from what you get on a QF J four hour flight. No alcohol served though. The curry was pretty tasting.
