The view from my "office"

I agree with Ron - dinner was great. But the rooms are small and dated. No lift to the second / third floor so you have to carry your luggage up a lot of stairs. Bathroom is miniscule, sitting on the loo my knees hit the wall 🙄 and I am 5' 6" !! Heating was on full blast, room was still not warm. If you don't have a room facing the valley, road noise could be a problem.
I stayed at the historic Carrington Hotel up the road from the Hydro at Katoomba a few months ok, big (although a little dated) room and bathroom, nice restaurant (the Avalon) across the street. Recommend over the Hydro, but select your room carefully...basic has no ensuite.

Well done! Very impressive entrance veranda onto double front doors. Your design?
I'd love to take credit but all I did was design the internal layout.

My wife has done the rest. She's gifted. She's done a fantastic job especially fighting a builder who wants to do things his way and not follow what he agreed to do from the beginning.

Wife and daughter will move in on Monday in 2 days. I'll be there in a week.
