Seems somewhat of a disappointing crowd for a Friday and the teams involved. Anyway - enjoy!

Turned out to be the largest single day test crowd in Perth....even. So I guess can't complain.

Also, I feel CA shoot themselves in the foot by not having the T20 and ODIs shown on free to air prior to build up demand. Also means not advertised to the right audience.

Snap. From higher up in the station. We are booked to stay in the Village Hotel Katong in April next year on a trip to show our grandkids Singapore. It is only about 200 metres away from one of the MRT exits.

How far from the station? I used to stay there on some work trips but was a great location back then. A metro to / from airport and city makes an interesting stopover choice now.

Bakchor egg noodles with pork meatballs & broth, too much noodles, only 2 m/balls.

Riceflour gnochi, roast fennel, zucchini,salsa v, regg. parmesan.

Reflections on our multi-office hop in NZ earlier this month:

Departing ferry from Auckland to Waiheke Is.

Oneroa Bay, Waiheke Is. Beautiful. Waiheke's scenically stunning but expensive.

Matapuri Bay, Northland. 30 min drive from Whangarei via Tutukaka. One of my favourites.


Driving the loop through Tutukaka, Matapuri Bay, Whale Bay back to Whangarei.

Whangarei Town Basin Marina.

Favourite drinking spot, Jovial Judge, Whangarei. The top shelf stuff.

Kawakawaka Historic Train. The train runs through the main street and has been since 1867. We were taking photos of the trucks and they were taking photos of us! WH&S, yeh nah. It's NZ.
...and back to earth with a thud: SIN F lounge as a WP in late Oct enjoying a QF2 (fancy G&T) while deciding what to have from the menu on our way to NZ.

...now SG in the QP Melbourne enjoying a hot dog and red on the way back from NZ.
