So there I was tootling along the back of the White House, when the security mob started to get agitated. I and the few people around me go shooed to one side (not withstanding we were in a public area and there was of course fences and untold security in front of us).
Ah; turns out we were at the vehicle exit gate and the public area was alongside where they drove out. First came about 10-15 motorcycle riders, followed by about 3 police cars ...

And about 6 black suburbans and misc police cars and a couple of what looked like troop carriers parked outside the gates.

Excitement at the time as we all thought it was "him" (or "Him" for some 
), but it was the Vice President, who, with Pres. Trump had lunch with President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority.
