TID - successful outcome after me delaying the claim

Credit where credit is due, but TID refunded me for an upgrade to business class due to a leg in a cast, the cost of a day in hospital and an expensive doctors appointment in Tokyo. I tore my ACL/MCL and Meniscus skiing Japan in January. I rearranged the flights myself, which in retrospect was a big mistake as there were all sorts of dramas. Naturally being a devotee of AFF, I thought I knew best at the time - next time I'll leave it in the insurers hands to arrange the upgrade. I did have a lot of trouble uploading claim docos and receipts online with TIDs website which meant I left the claim sitting around for a good six months. They chased me though, and paid in full so it's a thanks to TID.
