I wonder if they will use the B737 fleet domestically to fill the A320 void?

Also, I though a320's couldn't make the distance from Melbourne / Adelaide ??? Or will they route via Perth?
 
There's a thread about delays etc where this aircraft change was expected.

They need to deploy the A320 to DPS in order to pull the 738s back onto shorter routes (golden triange) to get enough crew transitioned to the 738 (get enough cycles into the crews to certify them).

The challenge will be weight restrictions on eg. MEL-DPS with an A320.
