I think Tiger are getting desperate.

They had a quick sale yesterday and now a longer lasting one today.

Even with the Inconvenience Fee, I managed to book SYD-ADL return for $50. Going there Saturday morning, coming back Monday night. So yes it is very cheap.

I had a Debit Mastercard but only has $4 in it, and by the time I transfer the money to that account the sale would have been over. So I just paid with my krisflyer visa.

Of course, now I have to start praying that their flights are ontime ..... Last 3 times they have been good to me, hopefully this streak will continue.

You just jinxed yourself there, I planned a killer weekend in MEL one weekend and picked up $56 return tickets on TT from HBA, rocked up at the airport 2 hours early, cut a long story short crew member got sick = flight cancelled, then spent the rest of my friday night helping staff with angry TT pax, some of which were my clients (but thats a different story altogether)

Hope your trip goes well ;)

Was that the one where all the angry pax got to watch as the plane took off for MEL (without them aboard)??

It was the very same one yes, 180 people watching an empty plane take off from HBA were flights are in short supply is not a pretty sight

Well I certainly not planned a "killer weekend" in ADL (it should be in SYD!) but sorry to hear your story. But the trip was to visit my aunt so hopefully:

- No TT staff got sick
- No plane mechanical failure
- No weather disruptions

What's the chance of any of the above become true at end of May?!

Oh well, TT has been working for me for the last 3 flights, let's hope that this streak will continue
