Interesting thing happened yesterday. I achieved QF Gold on 9th July for the first time. Was a QC member, but flying out on CX next weekend was keen on getting the card before I left. So I rang qantas and they said the card might be dispatched next week - or if I wanted to pay $30 they could get them to me in 2 business days. Apparently it is outsourced and they can't tell when it will get to me otherwise but it normally takes 3-4 weeks.

As luck would have it when I arrived home, Gold kit was delivered in the mail that day.

Anyone know how this works behind the scenes?

I know my other half qualified for Silver on May 5th and still has no pack. Two calls to the always helpful (!) QFF number have resulted in a "just wait it can't be too far away" response. There doesn't seem to be much consistency.

When i got Gold it took about 3 - 4 weeks to get he pack but i got there just before Xmas.

When i got Plat it took about 2 - 3 weeks but that was end of May

I qualified PS a few months ago, and the card took 6 weeks to arrive, which isn't too bad given I'm based in SIN. If you still haven't got yours after 8 weeks, definitely give them a call. If the answer is unsatisfactory, call again a bit later and hope you get someone a little bit more helpful.

QF adjusted finally my account due to missing points and sc on the 21.06.. 9 days later my Gold package arrived. Can´t complain, perhaps you have to live in Berlin to receive your package in no time.

Been an average of three weeks for Mrs Pvc, Jnr Pvc and myself getting our packs we all qualified at different times over the last 3 months. Not bad in my opinion.

Regards
