Hello,

Wondering if anyone here can advise.

I recently completed a business trip, and I calculated that I would get back to SG after completion of the 3rd segment (total 4 segments to this trip).

My QFF account posted all 4 legs as though I was silver, and did not give me SG status bonus for the 4th flight.

The 3rd leg was on QF3950 (operated by Jet Airways) that arrived in Singapore on Sat morning around 7:30am, and I caught QF32 connecting to Sydney ~2hrs later.

Just wondering if I should be asking for the extra QFF points that I would have got if they had elevated me to SG status instead of PS. (50% instead of 25%).

I note that they posted the entry for QF32 first, then QF3950.

Would be interested to know what other people have experienced in this regards

Cheers.

I think it is worth a call.

I believe that people who moved from PS to SG on the LAX-SYD flight have been credited as SG for that flight.

I agree. In August I flew ANC-DFW as an SG and received the appropriate 50% status bonus - this flight tipped me over to WP, and I connected ~3 hours later to a DFW-LAX flight and received 100% status bonus for that one (ie. WP bonus).

Thanks.
I made a call and the nice lady made a manual adjustment.
Done and dusted - shame she could not tell me if my account was registered for the 50%/100% SC bonus.

I know you have solved the issue by calling but i seem to recall posts on AFF stating that QF's system was able to go back once the new status was established and retroactively fix any flights that should have posted at the new status.

The timezone issue could affect that. It's good to know it's sorted now.
