As I sit here I ponder... Is it just me or are the male toilets in this lounge not up to the standard of the other lounges?

I refer to the cubicle doors, the general feel, the amount of cubicles and the style.

OOL from memory is quite small as well.

I guess the amount of cubicles reflects the capacity of the lounge.

As I sit here I ponder...

1. did you write something that began with that with a sharpie on the back of the toilet door?
2. Was this actual post composed while still in the cubicle?

... no judgement from me, just asking :)

Agreed - Brisbane is a bit of a downer compared with the other lounges. Not that I've paid very close attention... but would there only be 2 cubicles available in the Brisbane lounge? Little under-resourced one would think perhaps?

At least it isn't like Canberra where it is like walking into a house of mirrors and black walls!

I always forget where the entry to the BNE toilets are - its quite confusing with that ramp.

The toilets have not changed from when it was a Golden Wing Lounge, I would imagine putting in plumbing was too expensive to expand them.

Agreed!

On Saturday morning it was standing room only in there and people were queued up to access the 2 cubicles. Later there was effectively only 1 because, sparing the gory details, the other one was full to the brim!

The mind just "bog"-gles.

Ahh, comedians abound

As for the BNE lavs, I agree with markis10, they just haven't been changed. Perhaps when they redo the disused downstairs gates, it may happen then. (The plumbing below I mean!)

And on a follow up to another thread, I was departing the vanity basin area on Friday when a lady cleaner came in. Before proceeding to enter the "inner-sanctum" she knocked on the door and loudly proclaimed "female cleaner entering"......... If one were mid stream (so to speak), I'm not sure just what they'd be expected to do........yell back "No, I'm not finished"! To be honest, if they just entered, cleaned up after the oinkers and left, most blokes wouldn't even notice. I know I don't scutinise everyone entering or leaving the facility so I guess most blokes are the same. Unlike members of the opposite gender, we don't tend to make a trip to the toilet a social occasion accompanied by just about everything short of the picnic hamper and in need of at least 3 friends in tow to be considered remotely acceptable! We blokes are in, do the biz and out! All very boring, really. I'm quite sure those female cleaners could attest to that!

Have a look inside that tiny shower cubicle in there as well!

When I was there for the first time last year I didn't realise their was a shower in the toilet area and used the disabled shower/bathroom for a shower which was nice and large.
Last week I used the tiny cubicle in the mens bathroom. Not enough room for you and your luggage!

I also had the problem last week that there were two men who were either constipated or just sitting in there to use the phones posting to AFF when I just wanted to do a quick 2.
