I was under the impression that tickets ex Japan had to be booked via ANA hence the errors?Type in HND into Virgin website and you get told it cannot be booked in Australia - see below.

Mid April can get $1200 on the 17th April, with Virgin
As another poster mentioned, those prices are part of a return priced fare, you can’t get the one leg for $1200. Both legs have to be booked together for $3500 or you can call up the Japan number and pay the $2500 one way feeYes but how to book and pay for that $A1200 one way Biz ticket mid April.
That is my question. Virgin phone agents only 'see' the $2,500 type one way fares.
The flights via CNS seem to be half the price of the HND-SYD directs. But the extra SC makes it attractive, and a day of messing about in Cairns is never a hardship.
Maybe, for flights departing Japan VA providing the following. This is a translation but basically they are recommending one or you can call the Australian number which I guarantee won’t connect to someone who speaks Japanese. Can you book by calling Virgin?
It maybe similar to the issue they had with Bali, they may not have the relevant government approvals to sell one-way fares from Japan so it ends up being done via ANA.still it seems incredible they don’t want to sell online fares ex Japan direct via their website.
Not a whole lot to be honest. The Max is much better on fuel and has an operating weight of 3 tonnes more than an NG. I think there still are some caps but from what I can tell from crew operating it they’re operating pax loads of about 140.@AviatorInsight
Now that VA77/78 have been operating for a bit, do you have any info regarding payload/passenger limitations?
TSV as an alternate?it’ll be a stretch to also get TSV.
Yeah, the 737-8 is the Max whilst the 737-800 is the NG. Boeing seems to be moving to single digit model designators with their new aircraft (see 787-8, 777-8)I could.be wrong but having a quick look for CNS to HND in September next year it say 7378. Is that how they market the max?
Yes. Especially during the wet season, if CNS has weather requirements on it, ie holding, you can bet that TSV will also have it as well and that also needs to be carried.TSV as an alternate?
Or forced to change the name from the "tainted" maxYeah, the 737-8 is the Max whilst the 737-800 is the NG. Boeing seems to be moving to single digit model designators with their new aircraft (see 787-8, 777-8)

You've answered your own question. Unfortunately they don't cater to dietary requirements. It's a protein or non meat option onboard.I have a friend with dietary requirements considering the VA flight to HND in J - does anyone know if special meals can be o
I assume the answer is "No", but just wanted to make sure.
