Hi All,

Looking for a flight from MEL to DOH return in J class.
September departure for 2 weeks.

Sure its simple to try out Qatar airways, but ideally I would like to stick with OW.
has anyone been to Doha with a OW carrier?
is RJ the way to go? (MEL-BKK-AMM-DOH) or even go to LHR and backtrack with BA?

Any tips or pointers would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I realise your pretty keen to make use of the OW carriers, but my opinion would be to give Qatar a go. I'm trying them in J from DPS-MAD and back next month, and it will be a first for me with them. I've heard mixed reviews despite them being a Skytrax 5 Star, and I'm very interested to see how they go.

For me the lack of more direct options with OW would be the deciding factor. But each to their own :)

The saving in terms of time and dollars means you should go on QR nonstop from MEL.

You'd want to be pretty desperate to stay on OW to do otherwise (although this is AFF so anythings possible!)
