Transfer of EK points to QF

Hi all.
I have just realised that I have 30,000 EK miles accrued on a business trip in August 2015. As I have no short term plans to fly with EK any time soon, can these EK miles be transferred to my QF account (lifetime gold member.

Yep, just use them to book a Qantas award flight/s. From memory, short-haul Qantas flights only cost 8,000 Emirates miles, so you should have more than enough.

After 3 years, I believe.

Do you have to have an EK account to calculate partner redemptions? I can do EK redemptions without signin but it appears for QF you actually need to signin.

There is no way to use EK points to request an upgrade is there? Im sure there isnt but wanted to check there was no roundabout way of doing it
