I qualified SG then WP a few weeks ago, there was around 3 months left on my Qantas Club membership at this time. I am trying to find a way that I can transfer the remaining membership time to SWMBO, or at the very least, get her a QP membership without having to pay the joining fee.

5.8 Except as specified in these Terms and Conditions, membership is non-refundable and not transferable.

At first it appears that it's not possible. But then I found this:

3.2 Corporate or Business membership...
(b) The membership of each of these individuals is transferable to another employee or member of the same company, business or organisation by returning the individual's Card to the Qantas Club Service Centre together with the applicable administration fee for reissue of the Card in another name.

Would there be some way that I could bind my Qantas Club membership to the AFF corporate account (happy to do this by renewal) and then go through the process of transferring it to SWMBO?

Would QFF even let me renew a QP membership given that I'm WP?

There are two types of Corp account afaik, and the one that allows transfers is not the one AFF uses, I think.

Ahh, OK. Thanks Sam. :)

I was on my phone before, but it appears what you want would be possible, so long as you were a corporate member, see here. However I am not sure a renewal of your existing 3 months to make them 15 months would work, considering your membership is currently on hold due to hitting SG.
