Transferring SQ miles to VA points

Just wondering, whats the conversion or loss factor in transferring SQ miles back to VA points? Say if they were going to expire. I figure I may as well take a bit of a loss rather than ALL of the miles being lost.
Doing some future planning and looking at directing some NZ and VA flights (with guidance from the SQ charts of course) to SQ. Pretty sure we'd use them every 3yrs at least.

How long does it take for VA flights to land in your SQ account? Just going for miles, not status.

Isn't it the same conversion factor both ways (1:35 points converted to 1)?

Thanks, I knew the 1.35 going VA to SQ on the VA website but didn't know the reverse.
