Hi All

Admittedly posting this having done no research but asking on behalf of my sister, who arrives at HNL on JQ at 6.05am.

Is a separately ticketed 8.20am domestic (inter island) flight safe?

I would normally be OK with it but as she is flying JQ inbound, unsure if it is too risky. Travel insurance is of course an option, but would rather not plan to need it.

I think this would be fine, assuming the JQ flight is not delayed. It's not a particularly difficult connection.

But to be on the safe side, I would probably choose a slightly later option myself.
