Some questions for all the trip planning experts out there.

The best way to get from Melbourne (MEL) - Paris (CDG) - Genoa (GOA) - Hong Kong (HKG) - Melbourne (MEL)?

Pay or points with points as a preference and PE also as a minimum preference and is for two adultsand preferably with OW.
A paid trip for two adults, one six year old and one nine month old is also needed though OW for this group is not so important.
The two groups can travel on separate itineraries but roughly parallel dates would be good.

Dates are a little flexible though the preferred approx dates are:
MEl - CDG 14 Mar 2011
CDG - GOA 21 Mar 2011 (Train is a possibility here)
GOA - HKG 6 Apr 2011
HKG - MEL 13 Apr 2011

Any and all help is appreciated.

How many points have you got to burn? You could consider 2 x J oneworld Awards (560kpts for 2 people)

I found something for 2 people in J as a oneworld Award through the booking engine which is around the dates that you have in mind.

I'd probably recommend traveling between PAR and GOA via train. It'll be a long ride (about 8-10 hours), but it'll be a nice one (unfortunately can't price up a dummy ticket online - weird). There's also a direct CDG-GOA flight operated by BritAir (Air France).

I have the points so could you elaborate this a little as I did not find it?

The train is being looked at seriously.

I have looked at this quite a bit but just though a few of the guru's might see something I missed.

Time for this thread to be put to sleep.

The planned trip has been shelved as quickly as it originally appeared :!: :( :(

Thanks anat0l for all your work.
