I happened to have $150 in my TB account so I thought I would use it towards a flight in April, what surprised me was the VA website wouldn't allow or process the TB and a CC for the payment, I decided to handball the situation to the GCC and kudos to Romero who had the privilege of answering my call. Due to VA's semi incompetent system...( I'm looking at you SABRE!! ) we faced countless problems of the TB not processing, then when it did process there was the problem of the CC's not processing, I gave him 3 CC's to be exact.
At this stage I had already given up and with an apologetic and frustrated Romero and 2 supervisors on hold, I got a reference number and was asked if I could contact the GCC in the morning.
3 minutes later I receive my itineraries.. As well as being overcharged by VA I was on the phone to the GCC once again.
This time answered by a lovely lady with a lovely NZ accent (I didn't emphasise on her name unfortunately) I informed her of the situation and while talking to her my parter advised me that someone called him to ask for me (we are on the same PNR) Turns out it was another VA rep calling to confirm my itinerary and stating the payment has been processed.
I got back to my call and told her of the situation and she said to give it a couple of days and would make a note in the system that I had called up and enquired about being overcharged.
I'm feeling neutral as of this moment and was glad I got a follow up from VA, I've gone from neutral... Overwhelmed and frustrated only to be taken back to neutral.... Thanks to VA, they really know how to pull your strings then return you back to where you started. A slight rant from a pretty happy customer, if only I could get my hour back.
Has anyone else experienced this with TB and VA? Or was it just my luck?:mrgreen:
