I am likely to renew my Annual Multi-Trip Insurance. The Ts&Cs say it only covers me for 45 days per trip. I have a trip scheduled for 49 days.
Am I right in thinking, that if I want to be covered I will also have to take out a 4 day policy?
Or am I missing something??
Thanks

Speak to the insurer. There’ll probably be an extra fee (possibly considerable). Do the sums on the annual policy or a single 49 day policy.

Unfortunately, 45d max trips seems to be common on multi-trip policies. Been caught out by that a few times. My next big trip is technically 46d…

You will have to take out an additional policy for the extra 4 days.

There are some companies that will allow 60 days for multi trip but obviously more expensive
Thanks to those who have replied so far, any other advice is welcome. In response to a post here I looked at SCTI Annual policy and they allow 60 or 90 day trips!
