Hello,

Looking at booking flights to Honolulu in October.
Travelling from Perth on Virgin, then through to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines, and the reverse on the way back.
Anyone know what baggage allowance applies as I know that Hawaiian allows 56kg but will I be charged excess from Sydney to Perth on Virgin on the way back?

Cheers,
Nicho

Hi Nicho13 and welcome to AFF. If you book it as seperate tickets you will get the domestic allowance with DJ and then the international allowance with HA. I last did this trip from Gold Coast to Sydney and then onto Honolulu, booked through HA all on the one PNR and got the HA allowance on the DJ domestic flight also. I assume the same applies if booking through DJ but a simple phone call should give you the answer.
