What song do you like to pack?

I'll kick start with this one... what's yours?

I like Ukiyo by Hermitude for takeoff and landing.

Non-singing song but good vibes.
This is it: https://youtu.be/8tMWcbXWo0Q

Not sure why I like it so much, just peaceful I guess

I also used it in a video I made about my trip to the Maldives
You can watch that here:

I was always thinking about the song "I'll be home on a Monday" by Glenn Shorrock as I would be a long way away from Perth at trade exhibitions in the US and often in Las Vegas. In those early days I stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton as it was close to the convention centre. Telephoning home was expensive with no Skype and fax machines were slow to arrive in the US. I remember flying on the 747SP with Qantas as it was the quickest way from Sydney to Los Angeles. Before that there was a stop in Honolulu for fuel and immigration.
I started those runs around 1978 and it wasn't until 1994 that I moved out of coach class.

In the 70s it was this.some memories in the photos-

Pops into my brain every now and then.Last time when driving by the Bruny Island airport-Bruny International airport where the...Yeh I am crazy.

This song is one of my favourites:

Not really in the theme of the thread, sorry, but I've been trying to find a place to post this since I found it a month or so back. I do get this tune in my head when travelling from time to time though.

Get past the intro and then groove to Telstar and the latest technological wonder.

Playing yesterday was a song that automatically m,akes me think of Vegas. The year 1981 and our first visit. The first show we went to was Perry Como.Might as well have been a puppet sitting on the seat.Just went through the motions. However the doorman there taught me the ways of Vegas.Buying a ticket in advance they automatically put a tip on and if you let them you would be in the back row with us.Tell them no and give the same amount to the doorman as you enter and it is the front row of tables as it was for us on April 3rd.This is what we heard-

However it was a much better performance as April 3rd is his birthday. So he and his support act,Rita Moreno, stayed an extra hour and sang their hearts out.Still remember it to this day.

I don't have a specific song for packing but do like Zimbabwe by New Navy for the pre holiday feel. "Leave the office for the open plains and leave the paperwork for other days. .."

I like having a flying-themed song for touchdown. "Jet lag" by Simple Plan and "Takeoffs and Landings" by the Ataris are currently on high rotation.

When I was commuting - this was a favourite.

It all depends on what's playing on the audio outlet and whether I have headphones on or not.
