$159 -- NZ Flight Sale from Sydney & Melbourne (one way)

Sydney & Melbourne to NZ

Top 20 deal - sells out quickly!
Travel dates: 17 Nov-13 Dec

We’re getting used to seeing the low-cost carriers offering flights across the pond for less than $200, but it’s still rare for the full-service airlines. That’s why we were impressed to find Air New Zealand offering flights to three New Zealand cities for just $159 one way including tax. You would regularly pay over $250 to fly these routes with the national carrier.

EXCLUSIVE OFFER - Offer expires: 20 Jan 2025

- Earn up to 200,000 bonus Velocity Points*
- Enjoy unlimited complimentary access to Priority Pass lounges worldwide

These fares are the new "Seats to suit" product which in effect makes the fare the same as a LCC fare. A full service fare is still in the region of $219 (Works, "Economy today")- $299 (Works deluxe).

To me it actually looks like they want a foot in each camp which probably makes it difficult for the cabin crews.

Well I got a flight SYD/WEL for $280 return, it is only 3 1/2 hours so I'm happy to save the money and eat before I go. Agree for longer flights it isn't much fun and I have to do cabin baggage only but I can do that for the weekend, in fact have done frequently for 2-3 day work trips.

I'm happy to have the options!

And if you are star gold then you can always stuff yourselves at the lounge before departure!
