Earn triple Qantas Frequent Flyer points when staying at participating Hilton Family hotels around the world. That's 3,000 points per stay instead of the usual 1,000 points per stay.*

To take advantage of this offer, book and stay on an eligible rate between 1 April and 30 June 2009.^ You must also be a Hilton HHonors member+ and register with Hilton online before check-in. As a Hilton HHonors member, you can also earn Hilton HHonors points for your stay.

Very tempting offer. Just wish there was a way I can make use of it.

Is there a Hilton on the Sunshine Coast?

AFAIK Brisbane is the closest.

Is it worth it for only 3000 points though?

No, they are building a new one on the Gold Coast. Otherwise its Brisbane Hilton, Conrad Treasury or Conrad Jupiters for Hilton brands in South East Qld

That's right, I forgot about the 2 Conrad properties, which are now also part of HPC.

I am in Brisbane on the weekend of 25-26 April and was thinking of just heading off somewhere and playing some golf or whatever.

I have found a Hertz car for $33/day, 1,000 VS Flying Club miles, and Conrad Jupiters is ~$144 on Friday 24 April, ~$190 on Saturday 25 April, for 3,000 QFF points. If I come back to Brisbane Saturday afternoon and hire another Hertz car get another 1,000 VS Flying Club miles and find a Best Western up on the Sunshine Coast somewhere for ~720 QFF points it would be a productive weekend.

I was going to go somewhere anyway so why not get the FF miles/points as well....

Will have around 2 weeks worth of Hilton Hotel stays coming up on my trip to various parts of the US..all very good timing.

The Parmelia was doing AP rates at ~$150 some time in April. At 17-20 points/$, that's much, much better value than most flights (unless you have status).

But apart from that, it does make a big impression on choice of hotel if you had to stay at one!

Well, that's right.

JohnK, if you were going to be staying somewhere anyway during that period then why not

The other alternative is to stay in my one room apartment and play Diablo II and drink all weekend.

You play Diablo II??? I haven't touched that game for a while.... good times had in high school.

But a fair alternative - how's about laying off the alcohol though? ;)

Yes I like Diablo II but it has compatibility issues with Windows Vista that I am trying to sort through at the moment. I like Paladin.

You know how it goes. Boredom and depression lead to alcohol. :( I do quite well during the week but then spoil it on weekends or when I go to the lounge....

Has anyone had a close look at the list of participating hotels for this promotion? I was confident that all six Hilton properties I am staying at in the promotion period were eligible but in reviewing the list today, only two are.

Additionally, the list contains a number of Homewood and Hampton properties, both of which do not participate in the QFF program.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I had 3,000 QFF points post the other day for a stay at Conrad Jupiters in April....
