Interesting offer for triple points for all flights into NSW. Also eligible for triple points for the outbound flight:

If you book a return trip, triple Qantas Points will be earned on all eligible flight segments (inbound to New South Wales, and returning from New South Wales).

Triple points also being offered on hotel bookings over the 5 day promotional booking period (but can be for hotel bookings in March 2022, whereas flight bonus points are for bookings from April and beyond).

Registration is required, and can be done through https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/member-offers/triple-points-to-nsw-open.html

T&C's:
Book between 12.01am (AEDT) Monday 28 February and 11.59pm (AEDT) Friday 4 March 2022 for travel between Friday 1 April 2022 and Thursday 2 March 2023.

Does this only apply if your origin is outside NSW?

An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this promotion means an Australian domestic Qantas operated and marketed flight originating outside of New South Wales with a QF flight number on your ticket where Qantas Points are normally earned to any destination within the state of New South Wales.

Darn it, booked a flight at like 11am ha.

I have a probable trip originating in Sydney in June so thought I would book the flights during this promotion. Of course the fares have gone up! Also the free changes flexible policy also expires for flights up to April 30. So a Red-E-Deal costs $90 more from Perth and there would be a $99 change fee and no cancellation permitted. (Not sure if just a date change is still free.) Flex fare allows free changes but at twice the price of the discount economy. And I don't pay that sort of money for domestic business class! So I might as well wait and book classic reward J seats later on. The up side is that a return red-e-deal would net almost enough points for another one way economy classic reward flight. Decisions.....

Trips originating in SYD arent eligible for the promo, you need to start the trip from outside NSW.
