The last two flights that go SYD-MEL from T1 and I am sure they used to come up as options on the QF site -seems to not be the case now - or am I doing something wrong?

I can't see them as cash fares on the JQ site or the QF site either

I also can't find them as anyseat awards on the QF site either if that is what you are trying to do

Maybe JQ have removed them from sale, which is a shame

I can see JQ35 on JQ’s website on Saturdays and both on Tuesdays, but there’s no StarClass option for some reason.

Even if you did see them on the QF website, if you’re just booking JQ it always redirects to the JQ website.

Worked for me.

Well either way the flight are there, just not on QF’s site, and if you did find them there, you’d be redirected back to JQ anyway if you were solely flying them.

I was looking at JQ website as you stated you did. With the attached picture.

I think you must select "Melbourne - Tullamarine" as an origin / destination, not simply "Melbourne (All Airports)" and certainly not "Melbourne - Avalon".

I realise that.

That could be why I didn’t see StarClass, though I have seen it other times when doing “all airports”. So go figure. Meh!

Well that was my problem then, I can see them now inc. *class;)

Thanks to those who responded - it still doesn't clear up the mystery of why they do not even appear on the QF site - when all the other JQ flights SYD-MEL do.

Perhaps they just disabled showing the international leg flights, like how you can’t do QF domestic (international terminal) flight anymore.

Either way, why does it matter, you can simply book it separately on the JQ site ;)

there are still qf international domestic legs that show up, e.g. qf81

Of course i agree that it is simply a matter of booking direct with jetstar.

But they are phasing them out?
I don't know they have certainly cut a few over recent years. But QF 81/82 are still available and I think there is some flights between syd and bne. Sefty knows for sure and the flights were listed in a thread recently. I'll try a search one I got to a real computer.

SYD-BNE and SYD-ADL are the last ones, from memory SYD-BNE is once a week (up on thursday back on tuesday -QF19/20). Would expect JQ to do the same eventually in terms of phasing them out when they get more A330s, the short domestic sectors would rarely be at capacity.

On ANZAC Day the JQ flight to MEL was full, with only a handful (literally) actually heading on to the international destination. Nearly everyone was just going to MEL.

That would not be the norm, before orange D stickers were allowed the average SYD-MEL int flight was 50% full at best on average, when your working in the International Apron Tower you get the pax on board figures for each flight.

BTW QF19/20 is going to an A330 with Skybeds!
