So... myself and +1 are planning (or rather have already booked) the following itinerary as part of a big trip we are doing soon.

However we 'may or may not' have come to a problem, to get extra SC's we've booked Qatar from Katmandu - Doha -Dubai in J on one ticket, we then plan to spend 3 days in dubai then we have a separate Qatar ticket for Dubai - Doha - delhi.

When trying to apply for a UAE visit visa via the qatar site (+1 is not on aussie pp but I am) it says our itinerary is not eligible as its only 1 way, so we will have to apply for +1's visa via a UAE travel agent instead.

Now question is will we have any issues with the 2x one way tickets whilst entering the country at immigration (presuming my +1 had got a visit visa already)? As I know most countries are fine if you show your 2nd ticket to prove you will be leaving the country, but UAE being the UAE I wanted to make double sure this isn't going to be a problem.

I will call the UAE embassy to check but wanted to see first hand experience from people on here who have done 2x one-way tickets to UAE.

p.s- I couldn't purchase this on a single ticket as the qatar site didn't like the combination and departure city for pricing, so had to book it as 2 One-way's, also QR's AUS office couldn't price it properly either.

Thanks!!

I am on Aussie, +1 is on India PP but with AUS perm resident.

I might add they +1 has been there on visit visa a few years ago for 4 days, but we had a return ticket.

Update for any that may be interested:

Spoke with a rep using dubai's immigration dept's online chat service. Despite the broken english on the chat I was assured 2 'seperated' tickets are fine to enter with as long as you have an exit ticket.
Hello 280 SC's!!
