For those of you with a UK Amex, that pay by DD, I received this email earlier today in respect of my BA Premium

Important Changes to British Airways American Express® Premium Plus Card​ We’re writing to let you know about an important change to the date we collect Direct Debit payments from your Card Account.​

From 1 November 2024 onwards, we are changing when your Direct Debit payments to American Express will be collected. Your full payment is currently taken from your bank account fourteen days after your statement date. For your statements produced after 1 November 2024, this will change to twelve daysafter your statement date. As is currently the case, if the collection date falls on a weekend or a Bank Holiday, we will normally take it on the next available working day.​

Given that all UK Amex are credit cards these days (including the Platinum, I guess they’ll be rolling this out to all their cards
