Only found out tonight that family member was charged "admin fee" on credit card after receiving an email later after using the car because the hire car company claimed that they received a speeding fine. They were unable to provide a copy of the fine and never received bill for fine itself?
Is this normal dodgy practice or does the admin fee actually cover the speeding fine?
It was about 90 pounds in 2014.
