Unable to confirm seat selection

Just tried altering my seat after checking in online for QF 972 tomorrow, and I find a vacant seat then at the end of the process get a error message unable to confirm seat selection.
QANTAS IT at it again, or something else?

I have been unable to select seats for my PER-SYD flight tomorrow afternoon and even QF couldn't when I phoned them.

IT glitch I think.

Hmm could select my seats at the time of OLCI, but then trying to move after that when another set in front became free I get the error message.

Just as a addition to above, go through the OLCI process again it works okay.
