I'm a regular traveller and consider myself pretty good at minimising jet lag, and yes have at times felt a bit tired after trips and been a bit out of sync but always recovered quickly. I also work shifts when offshore, so consider myself seasoned.
Last week I went to Europe and back, no problems in Europe, but since arriving back on Sunday I've been hit hard. The first few days I just was incredibly drowsy and felt like vomiting, and whilst it's not as bad here I am 4 days later still feeling quite drowsy and lethargic.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I consider myself almost "immune" to jetlag with one exception being Europe to Australia. I'm not sure why, but sometimes it takes me a week to get back to normal. I never have this problem with any other destination. I thought the retiming of QF10 would help, but I still had problem sleeping recently coming back from Europe.

It can happen sometimes! Completely randomly it seems. I had something similar about 4 years ago.

Not surprised about no jet lag to europe - flying west is always better. Although they say if you are flying east and going to something active or exciting (work or holiday) the effects of jet lag are less because of the adrenaline.
