Aircraft looks to be VH-ULQ, a 17 year old E190 operated on 11 - 13 July 2024

Is this something that would normally cause an aircraft to divert? They definitely could've diverted to Melbourne or Adelaide (where I believe NJE has a base) if they ran out of water at just 30 minutes.

May not have affected their ablutions routine in the slightest. Perhaps not even noticed by some.

Being that the AFL are official partners with VA I’m not sure why they didn’t stick to the normal routine and chose the charter operation

Can someone tell me, if passengers were expected to wee into the basins, then why would you be scooping from to basin? Wouldn't that end up blocking the basin, making it even worse? Or were they trying to wash down the basin? But the drainage in the basin is often so small that even snort can't flow thru, how would Mr Hanky fit thru?
