I'm not convinced this sale is quite as good as the hype would have you believe. But $69 for BNE-SYD is pretty good.

Some good fares in this sale. $69 between SYD & BNE and $159 between PER & SYD/MEL/BNE is hard to beat! Even $119 between SYD & CNS is the cheapest I've ever seen.

im getting a "502 bad gateway error" from the link of this sale that they emailed me.. ha

I haven't even received an email about the sale yet! And yes, all the communications preferences are selected in my Velocity profile, etc etc. I always seem to get these VA's sale or Happy Hour emails either late or not at all - if they do arrive, it's usually well after the sale has started (sometimes several days if it's an extended sale period).

Thanks for that, just last night I was lamenting that I could fly from PER to KUL for $199 but it cost $319 to get to DRW. And today, voila! $149. Booked.

Some good fares for 7 weeks in Feb-Mar 2017.

Perfect timing, as I needed to book flights to the States.
But adding in extras ( front row of Y which used to be free for WP ) I ended up booking with NZ. Pretty much the same price as VA, but the extra legroom was cheaper and more SCs going BNE-LAX via AKL

Im not booking things 9 months out. Some of the prices are OK, but hey, Its a LCC so in reality these should be the introductory prices for every flight. Not overly fussed and in reality I don't feel too confident in booking flights that far in advance with VA, all things considered.

Some decent flights, most of them are a bit far out for me. Might be snagging one of those LA flights though..

Worked out perfectly for me - needed flights ADL-BNE for a wedding in March next year. Had already booked one way for $139 in the previous sale but today got the other direction for $99 :) Normal fare around $200 so a good saving for 3ppl.

$331 all in return 2 pax Melbourne - Syd for my husband's birthday in Feb. Cheap enough to override our don't book any more holidays until we're back from Eurpoe rule!

Temped to book Perth also, but I'm running out of leave!

Booked a few PER-East Coast flights at $326 rtn to lock in the 100% status bonus and row 3/10 seating.

The VA sale also forced down QF so I was able to get rid of a few QF credits I had hanging around.
