Or is it?

Would anyone like to comment on this KF promo, which to me is contradictory.

It claims we can earn 500-10000 KF miles per night, but then states to earn the full 10000 requires 10 nights? Are they saying a 10 night stay will earn 100,000 KF miles (10x10000)?

Something tells me the answer is no. It states it's limited to one per customer per stay (presumably 1 night) and limited to 10 nights of bookings per customer, of which the customer needs that to be all in the same booking at the same hotel in order to get the 10000???

Am I reading this correctly, which if yes, I'd say that is misleading advertising.

Each RocketMiles booking is eligible to earn KrisFlyer miles. The miles earned depend on the room rate or any promotions at the time?

Also if you have never used RocketMiles before you can sign up and your first booking would be eligible for 1,000 KrisFlyer miles/night up to 10 nights. So 10,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles.

That is how I understood it. I had a look at Pattaya and they only have a few hotels which don't interest me as they are not close to golf bar and this trip due to recent developments close proximity to the golf bar is the key.

OK, so the restrictions apply to just the newbie bonus and that is 1000 per night up to a max of 10000 (which seems to be OK on 10 separate bookings). Then 500-10000 per night regardless, until 31 March, but there is no way to ascertain where on that scale that they will pay until after the fact? Seems a bit hit and miss there as the difference between 500 and 10000 is quite considerable. I would have thought there would be some kind of explanation as to the basis on which the miles are actually awarded.

There is also a discrepancy with the bonus miles. The promo flyer says up to 10 nights (or 10000 miles), yet on the booking page you have to use, it says up to 5 nights (or 5000 miles). I wonder which is correct? I've also looked in their Ts&Cs and there is no mention at all of a KF/SQ relationship, so all in all, this might be an attractive offer, but the transparency of the offer leaves a lot to be desired.

EDIT.....OK, so I can see the answer to one question. When you do a booking, it shows the number of KF miles that will be earned. Now I just need to ascertain if there are any worthwhile properties there.
