Hooray, in the absence of a meaningful points transfer option I was almost contemplating gift cards...

Hmmm, what does the 'brain-trust' think... I have 130,000 Diners points, which I never transferred to KF via VFF when the link was active, so it's now worth 65,000 KF points OR I can transfer now and get 149,500 VFF points. I may have to terminate the card in July if they don't substantially discount the card fee. We 'may' be going to NZ end of year, and if VA re-starts NZ flights, it may be a good way to burn a large number of VFF points, but otherwise, I don't see much value in doing the VFF transfer, as that's a lot of VFF points to burn on intermittent domestic travel...
