Hi all. After lurking for a long time, finally worked out how to post on here. Have enjoyed everything about flying since my first overseas trip as a nervous little kid from the bush on a BOAC 707 from DWN to SIN in the 60's. Remember the days when no child's flight was complete without the mandatory trip up to the coughpit to meet the crew and maybe be invited to watch the landing from the jumpseat ! Lucky to have travelled wide and far, on everything from flying lawnmowers to 380s for work over past 35 years. All self funded travel these days so always looking for good deals and research tools to maximise hose mighty SCs. Hopefully get LTG after a RTW trip this year. Safe travels and see you in the lounge

Welcome aboard.

The 60s a long way before my time but I do remember frequent trips to the coughpit as a kid flying from Tassie to the mainland, coughpit doors on the old Fokker friendships being kept open through the flight etc. Don't think i ever had a jumpseat landing though!
