Upgrade me bid in conjunction with fly ahead

Does anyone know if it’s possible to still fly ahead if you have won an upgrade bid.

I suspect ”no” but can’t find anything after googling for a while

I suspect 'yes', as FlyAhead is available if you are in Business - Terms do not indicate what 'class' of Business.

The business cabin is usually full at the moment with those who have had a successful upgrade bid. When I have tried to do it lately with a paid business fare I've been unsuccessful. It makes it a bit of a hypothetical question for the moment.

I've been able to fly ahead on an upgrade bid from a choice fare. Obviously dependant on J cabin loads.
