Hi Guys

What would be the chances of these upgrades? :

Flights i have upgrades on coming up are:
QF 93 29th June Mel-LAX Currently Booked in Premium Econ (T Class) upgrade request at 45,000points to J has been placed.

QF94 22nd July LAX-Mel Currently Booked in Premium Econ (T Class) upgrade request at 45,000points to J has been placed.

I am a Silver QFF and a Qantas Club Member

Also i have Qantas QF108 i believe 14th July JFK-LAX where i am booked in economy and it says upgrade not avail? Tempted to pay cash for the business upgrade if they would let me, any idea on that? They have put me in G Class for that leg

Cheers

Qantas does not usually offer cash upgrades to business class unless you are prepared to pay the full difference between your fare class and full business class fare.

Is G class a group booking class?

Re: The Operational Upgrade Thread

G is a discount economy class, so maybe not eligble for upgrades.
Edit: Hmmm according to QF terms and conditions it is not a restricted category, might be worth given the QF FF call centre a ring.

Re: The Operational Upgrade Thread

Was booked through a travel agent. I didnt realise at first the flight is like 6 hours long so was fine with the original routing of Prem Econ for mel-lax-mel and econ for that jfk-lax leg but now im wanting business.

Will give them a call this arvo and try to beg! haha. I would even be happy to pay the full fare difference, but would anyone know what this is? Because Qantas cant sell the JFK-LAX leg by itself, it can only ever be part of a trip leaving the US?
