Hi All,

Humour me, I just logged into my booking for my to the Singapore F1 later this year, and I'd booked two 'N' class fares in whY with QF on the PER-SIN direct, which suddenly I was able to request an upgrade on. I realize under normal circumstances the (N,O,Q etc.) fares cannot be upgraded, however last time this happened last year (tried upgrading an 'N' class fare) I happen to jag the night they were about to have a promotion whereby any fare class could request an upgrade.

Is anyone else on a non-upgradeable fare having the same good fortune?

Or have I managed to score a glitch in the matrix...

QF just emailed out some offers for upgrades on non-upgradeable fares.

Last time they did that - even those who didn't receive the offer could still request one online :)

Yep got 1 too - just submitted a request on a dirt-cheap ex-SIN O-class fare :p

Someone in another thread received an email offering an upgrade on their Discount Y there and others have tried their luck.

Not for international (except when they run these offers)

Yep, I just discovered the same thing.
We have 3 dirt-cheap O class fares on QF107 in July, and I can't decide to upgrade both legs (SYD-LAX, LAX-SYD) to PE, or just one way to J.

I would do just the return to J. Providing space available in J... It still is a lottery with now a lot more people playing :-)

Thank you AFF!!! I havejust requested HKK-BNE upgrade J on an O ticket. If it we get it, it will be wonderful as we have a 12 hour layover after our FCO-HKK flight on CX.

My June and September SYD-SIN sale flights are also both upgradeable. I probably won't request an upgrade on these legs though as they are day flights ~7hrs and I'm happy to slum it in Y 80K.

So as it were the upgrade gods were shining down, my poverty 'O' class ticket became a Business class seat, not only on the way there, but on the way back and for two people! Anyone else here have any luck?
