Upgrade to J on K fare

If I put in an upgrade and it is accepted, but I then change my flight to an earlier flight when I get to the airport (if I finish early) will the points be refunded?

I'm pretty sure you forfeit the points if you change or cancel the upgraded flight within 24 hours of departure, but check with QF to make sure.

I'd be sticking with the original flight and enjoying the J lounge!

In that case I won't bother! I'll ask for ODU when I check-in, I have a feeling I may able to get out in the morning rather than afternoon now.
